We envision a place where people of every ethnic, socioeconomic, marital, educational, vocational and religious background may come and find a safe home to consider new life in Jesus Christ. We look forward to the day when our congregation reflects the cultural and ethnic diversity of the community around us.
We envision a place where broken lives are transformed by the life-changing power of the gospel of Jesus Christ and by the relevant teaching of His Word – the Bible. This dramatic transformation of lives will be a powerful testimony to the world around us.
We envision a place where marriages are reconciled, children are treasured, age is honored and healthy families pass on a genuine and sincere faith to the generations that follow them. It will not be a place where young and old operate in separate universes, but where the young learn from the wisdom of the old and the old draw inspiration from the energy of the young.
We envision a place where people genuinely love and care for one another and walk with each other during the darkest days of their lives. It will not be a church that becomes more impersonal as it grows larger, but rather it will maintain the feel of a smaller church through vibrant small groups and adult Bible fellowships.
We envision a place that truly fulfills Jesus’ desire for His church to be a “house of prayer”. Every decision we make will be bathed in prayer and every step we take will be done so with the recognition that it is not by our might or our power, but only by God’s Spirit that we can impact our world for Jesus Christ.
We envision a place where people take the worship of God so seriously that it becomes a lifestyle rather than merely a Sunday morning phenomenon. It will be a church that joyfully sings both new songs of praise to God and beloved older hymns that have blessed God’s people through the centuries. It will also be a church that cultivates the God-given musical and artistic gifts entrusted to young and old alike with the eventual dreams of a New Life School of the Arts and a Songwriter’s Ministry to bless God’s church around the world.
We envision a place where children are entrusted with the blessed heritage of God’s Word and teenagers are empowered to own their faith for themselves that they might become all that God has intended them to be. First-class children’s and youth facilities will assist us in reaching an entire generation who will impact their world for decades to come. We envision one day operating a Youth Ministry Center that will be a lighthouse to teenagers of the entire East Metro Area. The young people are the future of Christianity!
We envision a place where the lives of adults are genuinely transformed and they become all that God has intended them to be. This will be accomplished through discipleship and ministry-training classes and we envision the eventual founding of a New Life Ministry Training Center to equip God’s people to become laborers in the harvest fields both here and around the world.
We envision a place where God’s people willingly give of their resources to provide modern, creative facilities that will enable our growing church to offer a multitude of ministries to both New Life and our community. We envision expanding our current facility in future phases to include additional educational and office space with the eventual building of a beautiful, new sanctuary dedicated to the worship of God.
We envision a place that shines as a lighthouse to the East Denver Metro Area by caring for all people in our community, partnering with other existing evangelical ministries in reaching our community, and assisting in the planting of churches both locally and around the world. In recognition that our community is undergoing significant ethnic changes, it will be a priority of ours to make sure that churches are planted among people of all races and ethnic backgrounds.
We envision a place where a heart-felt burden for a hurting world is cultivated from childhood and God raises up hundreds of future missionaries and pastors to take the gospel to the ends of the earth.
