To raise up a generation of Christians who worship God in spirit and truth and lifestyle.

Worship Ministry Vision
At New Life, our vision for worship is to create opportunities for people to have a genuine encounter with Jesus Christ, and to be changed by that encounter. We believe that God is to be worshipped in both Spirit and in truth, and that worship should engage both our hearts and our minds. Our desire is to honor God through our corporate worship services, and also to cultivate lifestyles of continual worship whereby we offer ourselves to Him as “living sacrifices,”

Worship Style
At New Life, we practice a “blended” style of worship with a strongly contemporary emphasis. We strive to incorporate a blend of contemporary worship music with traditional hymns, honoring what God has done in the past while rejoicing in the “new songs” He is inspiring in today’s Church.

We incorporate a variety of musical formats, using contemporary worship teams and bands as well as adult choir and youth worship teams. Our worship from week to week can be as variable as Colorado’s weather, reflecting our own diversity as well as the myriad of ways in which God moves His people to praise.

A variety of activities and programs are included within Worship Ministries at New Life. Opportunities for service are described below, including the average level of commitment required and the contact person.

Worship Teams
Singers and band members who participate in Sunday services. Commitment: approximately two weeks per month, Thursday rehearsal and two Sunday services. Audition required. Contact: Rachel Noble at jrnoble@comcast.net.

Choir
Adult choir leads worship once every 6 weeks, and presents special programs at Christmas and Easter. Commitment: weekly Sunday afternoon rehearsals, both Sunday services every 6 weeks, special rehearsals for holiday programs. Contact: Rachel Noble at jrnoble@comcast.net

Technical Crews
Sound, lighting and video crews provide technical support for Sunday services and special events. Commitment: 1-2 weeks/month. Orientation and training provided. Experience in these areas is preferred but not always required. Contact: Jeff Molden at jmolden@comcast.net

Deaf Ministry
Interpreted services for hearing impaired members and visitors.

There is an opportunity for anyone to be involved, and there is no minimum commitment. All that's required is a heart to reach and disciple those who may not be able to hear the good news of Jesus Christ, and be a friend to them.

Prayer Ministry
Coordination of prayer services and other special events throughout the year. Commitment: variable. Contact: Barbara Elikn at beelkin@comcast.net

Drama
Dramatic presentation during Sunday services, holiday programs and other events. Contact: Kristie Young at kyoung@newlifeefc.org

Vocal/Instrumental Ensembles
Vocal, brass and string ensembles assembled on an as-needed basis. Perform for Sunday services and special events. Commitment: varies. Contact: Chip Paulson at Chip.Paulson@mwhglobal.com

Songwriters Fellowship
Members meet to share and critique original music, and sponsor New Life concerts. Commitment: monthly meetings. Contact: Jeff Grinstead at Jwgrinstead@aol.com
