You can tell a lot about a church by its name. At New Life EFC, we believe that God has called us to help others experience the wonderful new life that can be theirs through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We believe that the ultimate mission to which God has called us is:
"Experiencing, living and sharing the new life in Jesus Christ."
OUR MODEL
At New Life EFC, we believe that when you become involved in our church you are really joining an extended family. We believe that God has intended the local church to serve as a home away from home where we love and support one another in our Christian faith. We believe that the Bible gives us a wonderful example of a healthy church family in that of the early church.
In Acts 2:42-47, we observe seven important traits of a healthy church family that we are striving to make a reality at New Life:
- A place of life-changing teaching
- A place of contagious fellowship
- A place of unceasing prayer
- A place of faith-filled homes
- A place of generous stewardship
- A place of heartfelt worship
- A place of world wide outreach
We realize that, just as many people have had painful family experiences growing up, so too, many people have had painful church experiences as well. It is our conviction at New Life that as we strive to experience Christian fellowship as outlined in the Bible, we will encounter church life as God intended it to be - not painful and disillusioning, but joyful, sincere and loving.
