The Children's Ministries of New Life EFC is committed to providing a safe and loving environment for your children as they attend church. Every child is a treasure in the eyes of the heavenly Father and we know that through His power and love your child's life can be changed for eternity. Through the ministry of this church it is our desire that your child will learn to be a faithful follower of Jesus.
Nursery:
The nursery provides a safe, caring, and healthy environment for infants and toddlers. There are pagers available for this age group so that we may reach you if there is concern with your child..
Preschool:
The preschool department includes the children in the 2’s, Preschool, and Pre-Kindergarten classes. There is Sunday School provided for each of these classes at 9:00 a.m. and at 10:45 a.m. we have a less structured teaching time for the 2's and the Preschool class. Pre-K have Lil' Kids Church during this time.
Elementary:
9:00AM Service - Children who are in grades K-5 attend Sunday School during the 9:00 worship service. 1st through 5th grade meet in room 203 from 9:00am - 9:15am for worship before going to their classrooms while Kindergarten meet in their room.
10:45AM Service - There is a Junior Kids Church for Kindergarten which meets in room 214. KIDS Church for grades 1st -5th meets in room 203. KIDS Church and Jr. Kids Church at 10:45am does not meet in the summer. We encourage the kids to attend service with their parents. We will be having our Fall Kick-off for our K - 5th grades on Sept. 12th!
Music:
Children learn to worship God as they are taught music during Sunday School, Awana, 5 Day Clubs, KIDS Church, Music Camp during the Spring/Summer and Christmas musical.
Awana is a club that will help highly motivate your child to grow in their faith and love for Jesus. Awana meets on Wednesday nights from 6:15 to 8:00 p.m. and includes children who are 3 years old as of Oct. 1st, 2010 through 6th grade. Each club night includes handbook time (Bible memory), game time, and council time (Bible teaching, and singing). There are special events during the year which include the Grand Prix, Bible quizzing, Games, and parent’s night. Come on out and join in on the fun! Kids are welcome throughout the year!
Awana will be from Sept.15th, 2010 through May 18th, 2011
Cost: $35.00 per child
(includes their 1st book and all awards and prizes throughout the year)
